• Completion of high school or GED (some college preferred) - transcripts required
• Age 21 within thirty (30) days of projected graduation date from BLET academy
• Must meet vision, hearing, and other physical requirements
• No felony convictions
• No serious misdemeanor convictions in the past five years
• No DWI/DUI convictions within the past five years
• No domestic violence convictions
• Valid driver's license and no suspensions of driving privileges in past three years
• Meet credit requirements (14 points or less)
• U.S. Citizenship
• Military personnel must have an honorable discharge and must be eligible for re-enlistment
